METAD provides healthcare solutions and community development initiatives
to the underserved around the world.
METAD works in collaboration with partner NGOs, beneficiaries, and local units of government to assess need and develop culturally appropriate projects and programs. The program focuses on the identification of local community assets and the cultivation of human, social, physical, environmental, and financial capital to define creative, sustainable solutions to community challenges. Primary development sectors include: Health, Education, Shelter, Human rights/Human Mobility and Livelihoods. Most development projects include a component of training and technical assistance or community based capacity building. Development personnel are available for deployment in humanitarian emergency situations worldwide.
Program Development
METAD offers comprehensive program development services, including on-site needs assessment, community asset mapping, community visioning sessions, formation of local advisory boards, comprehensive program design, project management training, program evaluation, and community collaborative building.
Shelter
METAD is committed to the creation and provision of safe, affordable housing for all people. METAD’s team possesses expertise in the development of single, multi-family, and supportive housing programs as well as the creation of cooperative housing communities, safe houses, and orphanages both domestically and abroad.
Livelihoods
In partnership with NGOs, local units of government, and faith based communities METAD assists in the implementation of tailored livelihood programming that addresses the multi-faceted needs – economic, social, environmental – of a community.
