Church Outreach & Support
METAD regularly partners with churches all over the nation to make sure that the economically vulnerable are being taken care of and not slipping through the cracks of society. METAD does its best to discover new needs and in order to address as many as we can, we partner with churches and their congregation.
One such church is Calvary Baptist Church in Palm Bay, Florida, has asked METAD to partner with them to support a local paraplegic currently unable to use his home bathroom. Because of this he is forced to shower in the hallway on top of a pan. This is causing mold to grow rampantly and further impact the family's health. This fund will gift the family with the materials, labor, and expertise they need to remodel their bathroom and accommodate his needs.
We provided $2,000 in funds to Restoration Church in Spartanburg, SC who used the funds to pay a portion of the freight distribution cost for the tornado victims in Tuscaloosa, Alabama in 2011. The freight costs were associated with the truckloads of aid that went to the many victims who needed basic supplies before resettling and rebuilding.
These are the kind of needs we help meet through our church partnerships. If you'd like to make a difference in someone's life like the above stories, please consider donating below.
