“Medications to Lebanon in November 2023, which included life-saving adrenaline injections, chronic disease medications for cardiovascular diseases and hypertension, pain relievers, asthma inhalers, allergy medication, and antifungal cream. These medications are commonly used and rather expensive in Lebanon and beyond the reach of the marginalized Palestinian and Syrian refugee and community as well as underprivileged Lebanese. These medications were distributed in different areas to maximize reach, including refugee camps and gatherings in Beirut, South Lebanon (Tyre, Saida), and North Lebanon. These medications will benefit some people who are still displaced from Ein El Helweh Camp after the recent violent clashes in the camp, which left homes destroyed and health facilities.”
